Still Waters Rentals is a locally owned watercraft rental company serving the Sarasota and Manatee County coastline. We launched with three brand-new 2025 Sea-Doo Spark watercraft — the most reliable, safest rental ski on the market — because we believe you deserve nothing less than the best.

Safety First

We take your safety seriously.

Every rental includes a mandatory safety briefing, USCG-approved life jackets, and a recommended route map for our operating area.

  • All renters receive a full safety and operational briefing before every ride
  • USCG-approved life jackets provided and required at all times on the water
  • iBR intelligent braking on every ski — stops 40% shorter than conventional PWCs
  • Minimum age 18, or 16–17 with valid Florida Boater Safety ID card
  • No alcohol or impairment permitted — Florida BUI laws enforced
  • All riders must sign liability waiver and be present for safety briefing
  • Stay within designated operating boundaries — route map provided
  • Accidents and incidents reported per Florida FWC SB 606 requirements

Common questions

What's included in my rental?
Every rental includes the ski, USCG-approved life jackets, a pre-ride safety briefing, and a local route map. Full-day rentals also include fuel up to our standard daily allowance.
How old do I need to be to rent?
Renters must be 18 or older. Riders aged 16–17 may operate a ski with a valid Florida Boater Safety ID card. All riders must be present for the safety briefing.
What's your cancellation policy?
Full cancellations made 48+ hours in advance receive a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours may be subject to a 50% fee. No-shows are non-refundable. We're always happy to reschedule when possible.
Can our whole group go out together?
Yes — with 3 skis seating up to 3 riders each, you can have up to 9 people on the water at once. Book all 3 skis and save 10% automatically at checkout.
What if it rains or conditions are unsafe?
Guest safety is our priority. If conditions are unsafe we will reschedule your booking at no charge. Light rain doesn't always cancel rides — we'll make the call together.
Do you require a deposit for full-day rentals?
Yes — a $250 refundable credit card hold is placed at check-in for half-day and full-day rentals. It is released upon return of the ski in good condition.
